This summer 500 guests gathered for the 14th annual party honoring Pittsburgh’s 50 Finest to raise a record total of more than $220,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Each year 50 of Pittsburgh’s most eligible men and women are challenged to raise at least $2,500 for the CF Foundation. The 50 Finest are honored at one of the city’s most talked about parties, held at the beautiful Omni William Penn Hotel and featured in Pittsburgh’s popular WHIRL Magazine.
Guests were moved by the words of Angie Kinney, mother of 11-year-old Megan, who has CF.
“The 50 Finest event is about more than just meeting a fundraising goal,” said Kinney. “These 50 men and women are committed to making CF standing for ‘cure found’.”
Top fundraisers this year are Paul Kraisinger, D.M.D., Tucker Veenis, Chad Irving and Jennifer Eck. The Western Pennsylvania Chapter also thanks its corporate sponsors:
