23rd Annual Great Strides Walk
Multiple locations throughout the Metropolitan Washington, DC Area
May 11, 18, 21-22, 2011
Great Strides is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's largest national fundraising event. This nationwide walk, held each year on the third weekend in May, brings tens of thousands of friends, co-workers, and families together as one community for one cause...to help find a cure for cystic fibrosis. The Metropolitan Washington, DC chapter holds twelve walks all around the metro area. Each walk begins with an inspiring send-off and ends with a celebration filled with food donated from local sponsors, music, and other festivities. The fun atmosphere is great for families or team-building.

The 26th Annual 65 Roses Golf Classic at Lansdowne Golf Club

This year's event promises to continue the 65 Roses tradition of providing a wonderful day of golf for the benefit of a critically important cause - cystic fibrosis research. Chefs in the City

Chefs in the City is a unique annual fundraising event that will bring the area's top chefs together for an evening to offer their signature cuisine to a limited number of guests in an intimate and exclusive setting. Each chef, designing their own menu, prepares a five-course dinner, complete with complimentary wines for one table of 10 guests.

CF Cycle For Life

16th Annual Jokers' Wild Casino Night

The 27th Annual Celebrity Tennis Gala

This evening of round-robin doubles tennis and dinner brings together Congressional leaders, members of the Administration, corporate executives, and government lobbyists. In a low-key and intimate setting, guests mingle one-on-one with some of the nation's top political decision makers and tennis "greats," including Sherwood Stewart, Virginia Wade and Kathy Rinaldi.

8th Annual Brewer's Ball

37th Annual Superdance
Bishop O'Connell High School: Arlington, VA

This dance marathon is held annually at Bishop O'Connell High School in Arlingotn, Virginia. For the past 35 years, the students of O'Connell High School have danced in memory of the O'Donnell family, which lost three children to cystic fibrosis. Students raise money by obtaining pledges for every hour they dance during the 12-hour dance-a-thon. Superdance has raised $3 million since its inception.
